The firm.
 
 In 1958 Abraham Aardewerk took his first steps in
 the antique trade in the shop of his parents. Almost
 immediately silver became his main interest.
 In November 1970, after twelve years of practical
 dealership, he and his wife Magdie opened their
 own showrooms at
 Jan van Nassaustraat 76 in The Hague, Holland.

 In 1998 Emiel Aardewerk joined his father in
 the business. He continues and expands
 the present expertise in antique Dutch silver,
 acquired in the past 40 years.

 Daughter  Esther joined in 1995. She has added
 a high standard jewellery-department in her own,
 distinctive taste. 

 We carry a high quality stock of antique
 Dutch silver from the 16^th century onwards.
 We aim to be trustworthy advisors, buyers and
 expert intermediaries to interested parties,
 be it buyers, owners, inheritors or sellers
 of top quality antiques and/or jewellery

 Next to the well known international TEFAF art-
 and antiques fair we also participate in the National
 PAN-fair in Amsterdam 

 Aardewerk Antiques B.V. is a member of the
 VHOK (Association of fine art dealers in
 the Netherlands).
