The cooper stands on a rectangular base with engraved checkered pattern. In his right hand, the cooper holds a stave which he is about to mount on the barrel in front of him.

Marked on the bottom with the Amsterdam city hallmark with the year letter for 1761 conjoined and the makers' mark of Arnoldus van Geffen.
