In this open carriage or gig, on two wheels sits the coachman with a whip in his right hand and the reins in his left. The horse has a plume on its head. The sides of the carriage are decorated. On the rear, two birds under a crown are incorporated into the decoration.
The carriage is marked on the underside with the Amsterdam town mark city mark with the date letter for 1747 conjoined and the maker's mark of Arnoldus van Geffen.
