A Pair of Snuffers

This rare and early pair of snuffers is fitted with three drop shaped feet. On one blade of the scissors is a container, on the other a lid which closes the container. Engraved on the outside of the tray is a family crest.
Hallmarked on the lid with the Bolsward city mark, the provincial lions, the year letter T for 1713 and the maker's mark a horn for Tobias van Velzen.
