Miniature Tea Caddy

If you were wealthy enough to drink tea, you used to have a tea caddy made by a craftsman; and preferably from a precious material such as silver. In miniature silver too, tea caddies were in great demand.
This miniature silver teacaddy is an exceptionally beautiful one, in a lovely sleek and timeless design. It was made in 1753 by the Amsterdam silversmith Daniël van Strant.
